As an RN for 8 years, Melanie decided to pursue her dream of become a primary care nurse practitioner to help people maintain and improve their health. She believes in team-based care and that the patient and whomever they want as part of their care, is on the team. Outside of work, Melanie enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing, live music, and spending time with her french bulldog. Her and her wife welcomed their first child in 2023.
